Information

 OUPSC offers 2 levels of membership and both are available to all members of the University of Oxford.

Casual members can

• attend weekly union snooker sessions (once per week) 

• attend weekly pool sessions for £3 pounds , which takes place  at J's Sports Bar (every Saturday for 2hrs)

•  attend coaching sessions hosted by the competitive members (every Sunday morning)

*Prior to BUCS Competitions, the union snooker, pool sessions priority will be given to the team members who are competing at BUCS 

Competitive members will get all the benefits of the casual members and can:

• attend two additional pool training session once per week (Tuesday and Thursday)

• enter inter-uni competitions (entry fee paid by the club)*

• friendly matches against the Oxford County team

• dedicated training session where we break down and analyse your game to design training drills just for you

Non-members price list:

• pool sessions at J's Sports bar: £8

• snooker union sessions at Oxford Union:  £5

• coaching session: £5

The first practice session of Michaelmas term will be used as trials for the University Pool and Snooker Teams, which will be open to all and free to attend.
*Having a competitive membership does not guarantee you a spot in an inter-uni competition, player selection will be based on ability

You can also join our mailing list, oupsc@maillist.ox.ac.uk, by going to web.maillist.ox.ac.uk; this provides brief updates about both college and university pool. The prices for 2025/26 are  35 Casual Members, and £85 for the competitive membership. Please fill out this form is you would like to join OUPSC.
